Straw’s Farm An Organic and All-Natural Family Farm Newcastle, Maine  Straw’s Farm is a diverse farm consisting of an organic dairy herd, laying hens, island raised lamb, hay and wool. The farm is managed by Lee Straw and Olivia Atherton, with one full-time employee and two-part time employees: Lee’s son Aran, and Olivia’s son Harlan. Experience, recognition, consistency, reliability, and being a trustworthy producer are the backbone of the farm. Lee Straw has over thirty-five years of farming experience in all aspects of livestock management - buying his first flock of sheep at age 14. Olivia joined the farm in 2005. As a fifth generation Maine farmer Lee’s philosophy has not changed much from that of his grandfather: naturally grown without hormones or antibiotics.
